Music Classes►
Come join the fun and learn the basics in a positive, motivating class environment. We offer private lessons and group classes. In our group classes beginners can see everyone making progress in their class, get some individual help from the teacher and play together as a team. This is great for building listening skills and steady beat. Reading musical notation is included and different styles are introduced. During the one hour class we also have time for musical games and other activities. Students can switch to private lessons at any time. Our group classes also play in our music recitals held twice a year. There is a $20 yearly registration/administration fee. This helps us cover the cost of our recitals that are free to you and your families.

► Little Mozarts Group Piano: Music for Little Mozarts is a premier piano and music program published by Alfred to encourage a love for music in young children, ages 3-6, and to help them begin learning to play piano. Classes help develop singing and listening skills while imparting an appreciation for many musical styles!
►Group Guitar (Acoustic or Electric - Two age groups offered: 7-11 year olds, 12 years and up. This class is for beginning guitar students with up to 5 students, and we focus on learning to tune the guitar, reading music, melody playing, chords and strumming, basic skills and techniques, and ensemble playing. Students will purchase a music book that comes with a c.d. to practice with at home. The cost is usually around $11. Students progress at their own pace with individual help from the teacher, and play together as a team at class as well. The teacher will assess the student's progress and recommend private lessons at the appropriate time. Students bring their guitar to class (a student size acoustic or electric is fine).
►Jr. Choir - Grades K-5th. Children love to sing, and this class will help young voices grow in an encouraging environment. Included in this class are warm-ups, breathing exercises, sight-singing, note recognition, introduction to music theory, score reading, appropriate repertoire including young Broadway, pop and folk songs through solo and ensemble singing. This class is an excellent choice before deciding on private lessons. The teacher will assess the student's progress and recommend private lessons at the appropriate time.
